Annual meeting report

We had our annual meeting for the sage brush rifle and pistol club this eveing. it was well attended with about 20 people showing up. a short meet and greet started the night as several new shooters were present. SDSSA memberships were taken and paid for. the minutes and fincials were read and approved by all present. President, treasurer and board were accepted in toto from last year. a discussion on how best to use grant money obtained by Kelly Landis was held at this time. past that several items were on the agenda. Gregg Simon brought up the old webpage we were currently paying 100$ plus for and getting only one update per year. motion was raised and passed to dicontinue the piad webpage and continue with this blog as our oficial internet presence. Mark LeFebre proposed the adition of an open class shoot to be held concurrently with scheduled military and/or lever action shoots. there was some discussion on this and it was accepted. Gene Cox then proposed again holding a benifit shoot for the Mobrdige regional hospital and also the possibility of holding a gunshow in Mobrdige this year. There was some dicussion but no motion was made. i will update on this as more information becomes available. There was also some discussion on other small items like range improvemnts, donations to the club and other activities. A good turnout and a good annual meeting for this year.
