2010 Military Championship

despite high winds, we had a good turnout for the military championship shoot. 30+ shooters filled four full relays and part of a a fifth, and included women and junior shooters. The high winds created some problems with falling targets, but enough stayed up to shoot with the help of some clothes pins.

ETA Video is up on youtube. Shooters are Jeff Jensen, Tom Forbes, Alan Johnson, Morrey Egna and Joe Scherr.

Honor Flight Shoot

Excellent turnout for our Veterans Honor Flight shoot today! 48 shooters for the match plus some participated in side shoots as well. We had two WWII veterans present, plus vets from current and prior service. The Shoot raised over $3600 with all proceeds to go to the honor flight program. Lunch was excellent as usual with kelly landis even providing a soft serve ice cream machine (to the great enjoyment of all i might add)! Several door prizes including a Remington 1911 .45 handgun were drawn for. Much camraderie made tha day quite enjoyable for all present. Great thanks to all who donated, helped on site or assiated in any way.

Hi power shoot today

high winds and cold temps this morning didnt deter 16 shooters in heavy rifle and 14in hunting rifle. the temps warmed up as teh day prgressed but mid to high winds plagued shooters all day. Tim Franks won the heavy rifle match with a score of 18 and Richard Fransen won the hunting rifle match also with an 18. We had shooters from local areas plus Bismarck and Rapid City. Lunch was mexican enchiladas and jalapeno poppers, and was VERY good and enjoyed by all. Thansk for coming!
