2011
NRA HIGH POWER, HIGH POWER HUNTING RIFLE & BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE
SILHOUETTE MATCHES

SAGE BRUSH RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB
DATES: May 15, June 19, September 3-4, September 11,
RANGE LOCATION: From SD Highways 63 & 20 junction, east 11 miles, turn right ½ mile, right ½ mile. From SD Highways 12 & 20 junction, 5.8 miles, left ½ mile, right ½ mile.
REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 9:30 AM MDT and closes at 1:00 PM MDT the day of the match. Shooting will begin at 10:30 AM MDT. The Silhouette Rifle Match will be shot first, with the Hunting Rifle to be shot after its completion and all ties are decided.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee for each match will be $10.00 per rifle. If you do not have a NRA classification book, you will be required to buy a book from the statistical officer for $12.00.
COMPETITION: Open to all shooters.
RULES: Current NRA rules will apply.
CLASSIFICATION: NRA classifications will be used. All unclassified shooters will compete in the highest class or in an unclassified class.
COURSE OF FIRE: All matches will consist of 40 rounds, 10 shots at each animal.
AWARDS: Cash or trophies will be awarded at the clubs option. Awards will be given for high overall, first and second in class AAA, AA, A and B in both events, except when there is only one entry in the highest class represented. They will be eligible for the high overall only. First place trophies will be awarded to the class having at least three entries. Second place trophies will be awarded in classes containing five or more entries. Classes may be combined if needed. The two trophy limit will apply. AAA shooters will shoot for 10-in-a-row pins only. They may buy 5-in-a-row pins earned. Junior shooters need only two competitors for awards.
TIES: All ties will be decided by a shoot off at the end of the match. If a competitor does not fire in a shoot off, they will forfeit the chance for a higher award.
All participants will be required to sign a WAVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. All minor participants must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
